Cool-Melt Ultra 250

low application temperature with tolerant performance window for packaging of frozen products

Applied at temperatures 30°C to 40°C lower than traditional case and carton sealing hot melts, Cool-Melt Ultra 250 will improve working conditions and reduce production costs. Cool-Melt Ultra 250 has versatile adhesion ensuring high performance on a wide variety of boards. The rheological properties have been tailored to ensure very clean machining.

Cool-Melt Ultra 250 has excellent thermal stability that reduces the need for maintenance and cleaning and reduces machine stoppages from blocked nozzles or filters. And the excellent stability also ensures consistent adhesive application and performance, maximising its efficiency.

Using patent pending technology, Cool-Melt Ultra 250 bonds a wide variety of boards including grease resistant, recycled and carrier boards and has the same bond strength and package integrity as conventional high application temperature hot melts.

Cool-Melt Ultra 250 has proven bonding performance on many types of packaging for frozen products such as Simcote, GR and Tailler Kraft boards down to storage temperatures of down to -30°C.

One of the most important factors is that Cool-Melt Ultra 250 can significantly reduce the chances of production line burn injuries. According to industry studies, approximately 6% of plant employees suffer some type of burn while at work. These types of burns frequently lead to long recovery periods, costly medical treatments and very painful injuries. The use of Cool-Melt Ultra 250 can reduce the potential for these types of injuries. However, we always recommend the use of personal protective equipment when handling any hot adhesive.
