Instant-Flex 447 has a proven combination of quick setting speed and clean trimming properties ensures trouble-free production on even the most difficult of publication. Instant-Flex 447 is suitable for use on short-covers, its fast set speed minimising adhesive build-up on the nipping station.

At recommended application temperatures and coating weights, Instant-Flex 447 exhibits very clean machining characteristics especially on nozzle systems and adhesive stringing can be reduced or eliminated. The tack-free nature of Instant-Flex 447 when cold allows clean trimming and easy handling. 

The high cohesive strength and specific adhesion of Instant-Flex 447 means that the product can be used at significantly lower coating weights compared with conventional side gluing adhesives. Optimum performance in terms of adhesion and trimming are achieved by running the product at low coating weights.

Instant-Flex 447 performs well through wheel in pot and jet side glue applicators. It is supplied in small pastilles, so can be used without a side glue premelter.
